The timeline

Timeline (⌘6) shows what changes while you watch. It comes with the unlock; without it, the screen says what it adds and offers Unlock. What does it cost?

• Signal and Link rate, each as a line, with the lowest and highest values: a reading every 2 seconds while the window is open.
• Changes: each big change in signal while the window has been open, with the time. With none: “No drops, roams or big changes in signal.”
• While the window was closed: the log Plain Air keeps when watching is on, such as “Your Wi-Fi dropped twice in the last 12 hours.”, then the last few events: Wi-Fi dropped, Wi-Fi back, Moved to another access point, Internet down; your Wi-Fi stayed up, Internet back, and Pauses. If watching is off it says so, with Keep Watching to turn it on. Keep watching
• Earlier checks on this network: up to ten, newest first, each with when, its word (such as Fine or Pauses), your router’s usual reply, the share of slow replies and Apple’s usual reply. With a network you’ve named, it says “Earlier checks on Home”. Name your networks
