Why can’t Procession close apps for me?
On purpose: you decide, and App Store apps can’t quit other apps anyway.
Procession explains and suggests. Closing is always your move: an app may have unsaved work, a call in progress or a download running, and only you know whether that matters right now.
Apps from the Mac App Store also can’t quit other apps. Procession wouldn’t if it could. It brings the app forward so you can close it with ⌘Q. Show and close
There’s no “free memory” or “boost” button, because those don’t really help: macOS manages memory better than any app can.
