What Porchlight reads, and what stays on your Mac

Your code never leaves your Mac, and nothing comes to us.

  • Your repo: read on your Mac, only the folders you choose. Porchlight never opens .env files and never sends code anywhere.
  • Public pages: vendors' status pages and release notes, read directly from your Mac.
  • Your domain: DNS through Google's public DNS over HTTPS, and its registration through rdap.org.
  • Your services: only with read-only tokens you enter, kept in your Keychain.
  • Us: no account, no analytics, no server of ours. Nothing is collected.
