What is purgeable space?
Space macOS can free instantly when you need it; it already counts as free.
Purgeable space is held for things macOS can remove instantly when you need room, such as iCloud files that are also in the cloud and local Time Machine snapshots. It counts as free for anything you save, so there's nothing to do.
