What happens when I clean?
Cachet asks you to confirm, then moves the ticked items to the Trash. Nothing is deleted outright.
- Click Clean on the Overview, or Move … to Trash in a category.
- Cachet asks you to confirm how many items and how much space.
- It checks each item once more, then moves it to the Trash. An item that's gone, has changed since the scan, or is now too new to be an "old installer" is skipped and listed as not moved.
- A summary shows what moved and how much space it frees.
The space comes back when you empty the Trash. Until then, anything can be put back. Put back something you cleaned
