Free space used by Docker

Docker's own command frees images and build cache that nothing is using.

Docker keeps its images, containers and build cache in one large disk image that only Docker can look inside. It can be tens of gigabytes.

  1. Make sure Docker Desktop is running, then copy the command from Cachet's Docker page:

docker system prune

  1. Paste it into Terminal and press Return. Docker lists what it will remove and asks you to confirm.
  2. Come back to Cachet to see the difference.

This removes stopped containers, unused networks, dangling images and build cache. Images your containers use are kept.
